Welcome! The collective intention for this website is to promote awareness of mindfulness-based programs in Connecticut and to help make the process of finding a program easier for you. On this website you will find practitioners who are offering programs, classes, and events rooted in the practice of mindfulness meditation. Most have been trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the Center for Mindfulness through the University of Massachusetts Medical School. While these teachers have undergone similar training, they draw from a variety of life experiences and professional backgrounds. We trust that as you explore the mindfulness-based programs on this site you will find just the right match for your needs.
